Kochi: FEFKA has come to the surface with strong answers to the criticisms made by the ace Malayalam actor Thilakan. B Unnikrishnan, the FEFKA General Secretary, said that Thilakan was not only marginalizing Malayalam cinema by means of caste but also by politics. His latest comment that a group of Communist Party was with him is an example for this. Mr Unnikrishnan also added that he had never written a letter to abandon Thilakan from the film ‘Christian Brothers’ and the change of actors was a common thing in cinema. If Thilakan could prove that he had done such a thing, he would very well resign from the post of FEFKA GS. Thilakan had said the other day that Mr Unnikrishnan wrote a letter to keep the former out of the movie in production ‘Christian Brothers’. To Thilakan’s comment that FEFKA was a mafia group, Mr Unnikrishnan’s reply was that Thilakan should ask his son Shomy Thilakan, who is a union leader in FEFKA, about the issue and clarify. Mr Unnikrishnan concluded by saying that the actor in Thilakan had committed suicide. |
